A meeting between the Yemen Foundation, the Egyptian Peoples’ Friendship Foundation and the Saudi Merkaz

 A familiarization meeting was held today between the Yemen Foundation for Cancer Care and Charity work, the Egyptian Association for Friendship between Peoples, and the Saudi Al-Merkaz platform.

The meeting aimed to enhance cooperation between these bodies in order to provide treatment grants and support to cancer patients from the Yemeni community in Egypt, especially Yemeni writers, intellectuals and artists.

During the meeting, they discussed mechanisms of cooperation between these bodies and how to arrange field visits to the Yemen Foundation for Cancer Care to see  the work and humanitarian services provided by the Foundation. The meeting reviewed  the activities and work of the Egyptian Association for Friendship between Peoples, as well as the cultural events carried out by the Saudi Merkaz platform.

The participants expressed their readiness to activate the system of joint work between the parties from  one hand and the Yemeni Cultural Center on the other hand to achieve humanitarian and social goals to serve patients and provide them with the necessary support.

The meeting was attended by Ms. Thikra Al-Nono, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Yemen Foundation for Cancer Care and Deputy Director of the Yemeni Cultural Center in Cairo, Counselor Nabil Subai, Coordinator of Activities and Events at the Yemeni Cultural Center in Cairo, Mr. Waheed Abdel Jalil, Director of Partnerships and Financing Department at the Yemen Foundation Dr. Sahar Mustafa, Director of Media and Relations at the Yemen Foundation, Dr. Mutahar Al-Reida, and Chairman of the Board of the Egyptian Association for Friendship between Peoples, Major General Dr. Tarek Ammar, the Executive Director of the Saudi Merkaz Platform Dr. Hassan Al-Sharif, Eng. Jamal Al-Shoubli, and Sheikh Ali Alqoaytee.
