Hajj Abdul-Wasi Hayel Saeed, Chairman of the Founders’ Council, received this afternoon at the Foundation’s building in Cairo, the great Yemeni artist Ahmed Fathi.
At the beginning of the meeting, Haj Abdel-Wasi Hail welcomed the visit of the artist Fathi and thanked him for visiting the Foundation, describing the visit as a great gift to the Foundation.
Hajj Abdel-Wasi noted that this will not be the last visit of Mr Fathi to the Foundation, but rather it will be followed by another visit in the very near future accompanied by the Singer Balqis Ahmed Fathi.
Hajj Abdul-Wasi Hayel also briefed the distinguished guest on the conditions of patients residing at Dar Al-Hayat, the services provided to them, and the care they receive from the Foundation.
The distinguished guest and the audience watched a television show that explained the services that the Foundation has provided during the past period since its establishment and the future projects that it aspires to achieve in the future.
In turn, musician Ahmed Fathi expressed his happiness with this visit and his satisfaction with what he saw of the medical and health services provided to patients at the Foundation’s House of Life, thanking the great humanitarian efforts made by the Foundation in this field.
He said that what he saw inspired hope and optimism and gave a great impetus to the success of treatment and health programs for patients. He also expressed his willingness to adopt artistic projects in the future, accompanied by his daughter, Balqis, to serve cancer patients and the Foundation’s programs.
Mr Fathi wished the patients a speedy recovery and that our beloved country, Yemen, recovered with a breakthrough soon, so that every expatriate who longs for its land and sky can return back.
How often the guest presented an artistic piece of his songs, with patients and the Foundation’s staff participating in it in a festive atmosphere that delighted everyone and brought happiness to the faces of the attendees.
On the other hand, Mr. Omar Barzeq, Director General of the Foundation, appreciated the visit, describing it as a dose of hope for Yemeni oncology patients, and that it represents a special honor for the Foundation and gives great motivation to the Foundation’s management in providing more services to oncology patients.
