Yesterday, the Yemen Foundation for Cancer Patients held a remarkable psychological support event targeting patients residing at the foundation’s “Dar Al-Hayat” facility. This initiative aims to enhance the mental well-being of patients and bring joy to their hearts, reflecting the foundation’s belief in the importance of integrating psychological support with medical treatment.

The event was led by a specialized team of experts in psychological support, family counseling, and life coaching, who conducted a variety of activities to promote patients’ psychological well-being.

Ms. Nujaila Al-Kumani, a family counselor and psychological therapist, delivered a valuable lecture on coping with life’s challenges. Her session provided practical advice and effective strategies for managing emotions during difficult times, leaving a profound positive impact on attendees and equipping them with psychological tools to overcome stress.

Additionally, the event included interactive activities and competitions, in which patients and their companions enthusiastically participated. These activities created a lively and harmonious atmosphere, helping to alleviate psychological pressures.

This event is part of a series of initiatives by the foundation to provide psychological and moral support to patients, reaffirming that psychological care plays a pivotal role in enhancing mental resilience and promoting the healing process.
