Yesterday, the Yemen Foundation for Cancer Patients in Cairo warmly welcomed a distinguished artistic delegation comprising the esteemed actor Salah Al-Wafi, the talented actress Ashwaq Ali, the elegant artist Basheer Al-Azizi, and the young artist Khaled Al-Ashari. They were received by Ms. Zekra Al-Noonoo, Vice Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, and Mr. Omar Abdul-Hakim Barzaiq, the General Manager.

During their visit, the artists toured the foundation’s facilities and were given a detailed overview of the wide range of humanitarian and health services the foundation provides to cancer patients. These services include treatment, accommodation, and psychological support for both patients and their families.

The visit also featured a special stop at Dar Al-Hayat (House of Life), where the artists engaged warmly with the patients, shared heartfelt conversations, and took memorable photos with them. This brought immense joy and a sense of happiness to the patients, leaving a significant positive impact on their spirits.

The artists expressed their profound admiration for the humanitarian efforts undertaken by the foundation to care for cancer patients. They commended the dedication and commitment demonstrated by the foundation’s management and all its staff. They extended their heartfelt thanks to Ms. Zekra Al-Noonoo and the entire foundation team for their noble efforts.

On the other hand, the foundation’s management expressed its deep gratitude for this visit, emphasizing the vital role it played in boosting the patients’ morale and supporting the foundation’s humanitarian mission. Ms. Zekra Al-Noonoo reaffirmed the foundation’s unwavering commitment to providing care and support to Yemeni cancer patients, driven by a firm belief in the importance of humanitarian work in alleviating patients’ suffering and bringing happiness to their hearts.

This visit is part of the foundation’s ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration with various public figures and the artistic community, while also raising awareness about the importance of humanitarian support for cancer patients.
