Ms. Thikra Al-Nono, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Yemen Foundation for Cancer Care, welcomed the delegation of the Arab Egyptian Group during their visit to the Foundation on Tuesday 8/8/2023.
On the other hand, Mr. Redwan Al-Hamzi, the General Director of the Foundation, thanked the guests of Al-Arabi Hospital for the visit and briefed them on the activities and programs of the Yemen Foundation closely, and watching the urgent needs of the Foundation.
Al-Hamzi said that this visit is very important and it strengthens the partnership between the Foundation and the Group in supporting the Foundation’s activities and various services.
Mr. Al-Hamzi mentioned the Foundation’s activities and the services and care provided to patients. He also reviewed the Foundation’s fields of work and its various programs to serve cancer patients.
The delegation then watched documentaries about the history of the Foundation, its services provided to patients, its humanitarian projects and success stories of some cancer patients whose treatment and care has been adopted by the Foundation.
After that, the delegation, accompanied by the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the General Director of the Foundation, visited cancer patients residince in Dar Al-Hayat of the Foundation and reassured them of their conditions, praying to Allah Almighty to give patients health and wellness.
On his behalf , the Medical Sales Manager of Al-Arabi Hospital, Mr. Walid Karim and Dr. Ahmed Al-Jundi, thanked the leadership and administration of the Foundation for nice reception and good hospitality.
They expressed their happiness of services, activities, care and attention they saw for cancer patients, especially the psychological and humanitarian aspect in adition to the medical and therapeutic aspect of patients, wishing permanent success to the Foundation in its activities and welcoming the cooperation between Al-Arabi Hospital and the Foundation.
Its worth mentioning that the administration of the Foundation had previously visited El-Araby Group.
The visit is part of the Foundation efforts to build partnerships with various institutions. In addition to creating opportunities and cooperation between the Foundation and the humanitarian actors in the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the way to strengthening and developing bilateral relations between the Foundation and other concerned authorities in order to achieve the Foundation’s goals and serve cancer patients.
It this regard the Yemen Foundation for Cancer Care is preparing itself to receive the Eighth Batch of thyroid cancer patients for radioiodine therapy in Cairo due to the lack of treatment in Yemen.
