Haj Abdul-Wasi Hayel Saeed, Chairman of the Founders’ Council of the Yemen Foundation for Cancer Care and Charitable Works, received the singer Balqis and her father Ahmed Fathi, at the Foundation’s headquarters today. This visit came to enhance moral and psychological support for patients and to see the services provided by the Foundation.
singer Balqis met with patients at the Foundation’s Dar Al_Hayah, where she listened to them and exchanged conversations in an atmosphere full of hope and optimism.
The guests watched a television reportage reflecting the services the Foundation has provided since its establishment and the future projects it aims to implement.
Singer Balqis expressed her great admiration for the efforts made by the Foundation, praising the pioneering role played by Hajj Abdel-Wasi Hayel and his wife, Ms. Thikra Al-Nono, Director of Dar Al-Hayat.
Belqis said: “I feel of a great emotional connection to this place and to the patients, and I look forward to visiting this place again and providing psychological and moral support to the patients who desperately need it.”
Mrs. Balqis indicated that there is an upcoming artistic plan in cooperation with the Yemen Foundation for Cancer Care, which will contribute to raising awareness of the organization role and its services which will have a positive impact on the Foundation, its patients, and the beneficiaries of its services.
It is worth noting that the artist Ahmed Fathi visited the Foundation at the beginning of this week, praised the services and activities provided, and expressed his desire to support the Foundation through future artistic projects in cooperation with his daughter Balqis, with the aim of enhancing and supporting the humanitarian efforts carried out by the Foundation.

And Mr. Omar Abdul Hakim Barzeeq, Director General of the Foundation.
