The Yemen Foundation for Cancer Patients Care in Cairo organized a psychological support event on Thursday evening for patients at its “Dar Al-Hayah” residence and their companions, under the theme “Patience is the Key to Healing.”
The event was attended by the Foundation’s Chairman, Mr. Abdulwasae Hael Saeed, who emphasized that the Foundation gives psychological care equal importance to medical support, considering it a vital factor in improving patients’ response to treatment.
The program featured a lecture delivered by Islamic scholar Sheikh Abdulmoneim Dweidar, who spoke about the virtue of patience and its role in strengthening patients’ resilience, citing real-life stories that demonstrated how patience can help overcome illness and health challenges.
Additionally, Sheikh Mohamed Al-Jazzar presented a segment of spiritual chants and supplications, creating a special atmosphere that deeply resonated with the patients and their families.
This initiative is part of the Foundation’s regular psychological support program, which includes weekly gatherings at Dar Al-Hayah that combine educational, spiritual, and recreational activities.
At the end of the event, the Foundation’s administration reaffirmed that such activities form an essential pillar of the healing process, fostering a supportive environment that provides patients with a sense of care and appreciation alongside the medical sevices they receive.
