Cairo – On Sunday, May 4, 2025.
Former Yemeni Minister of Endowments and Guidance and member of the Supreme Council of the Muslim World League, Dr. Ahmed Attiyah, paid a visit to the Yemen Cancer Care and Charity Foundation in Cairo.
He was received by the Foundation’s Director General, Mr. Omar Abdulhakim Barziq, who accompanied who briefed him on the services provided to cancer patients residing at the Foundation.
During the visit, Dr. Attiyah toured the Foundation’s “Dar Al-Hayah” residence, where he met with several patients and listened to their needs. He also attended a brief presentation highlighting the Foundation’s most notable achievements in recent years.
Dr. Attiyah praised the Foundation’s dedication to supporting Yemeni cancer patients who travel from different governorates to seek treatment in Egypt, despite the challenges and limited resources.
In a statement following his visit, Dr. Attiyah said:
“Today I witnessed heartwarming humanitarian services being offered to patients suffering from one of the most serious illnesses. This Foundation, by the grace of Allah, has been a lifeline for thousands of patients and truly deserves support and backing from both official institutions and the wider community.
