The Yemen Cancer Care Foundation, represented by Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees Ms. Thikra Al-Nounou and Executive Director Mr. Omar Abdulhakim Barzeeq, received Dr. Abdallah Abdulqader Bin Othman, Executive Director of Al-Own Foundation for Development, during an official visit aimed at strengthening cooperation and reviewing efforts dedicated to cancer patient care.
During the meeting, the Foundation’s leadership presented a brief overview of its humanitarian journey and programs, with particular emphasis on psychological support initiatives, which play a crucial role in improving patients’ well-being.
Dr. Bin Othman expressed his admiration for the compassionate environment he witnessed among patients and staff, commending the Foundation’s distinguished approach in delivering comprehensive care, especially in the field of psychosocial support. He also called on humanitarian organizations to support the Foundation in expanding its services to reach a wider segment of patients.
As part of the visit, Dr. Bin Othman toured Dar Al-Hayat residence, where he watched patients’ living conditions, listened to their feedback on the services provided, and visited the Foundation’s various departments.
